Sharing Japanese Calligraphy and Origami with High School Students

I was deeply honoured to be invited by the Consulate-General of Japan in Sydney to join their School Visit Program as an artist in May.

I am truly grateful for this special opportunity to demonstrate shodo (Japanese calligraphy) and origami, and to share my passion for Japanese culture with the next generation in Australia.

A big thank you to the Consulate-General of Japan! It was a pleasure to get to know the Consulate staff better and to see how much care and effort they put into this wonderful program. It was also a pleasure to meet the teachers and students. I hope the experience left them with a little curiosity and appreciation for the beauty of Japan.

Free Online Origami Workshop at Japanaroo Opening Night

“Japanaroo” Opening Night will be a free virtual event on Friday 20th August from 5.30pm(AEST) Everyone is welcome.

My origami workshop will start at 5.30pm. Please prepare the three sheets of square paper and a pair of scissors.

It will be easy and fun origami for everyone!
