Contemporary Artist

Midori Furze is a Japanese-born, Sydney-based multidisciplinary artist and is an active participant in the local art community. As well as exhibiting her works in a number of group and solo exhibitions, Midori often runs origami workshops and community origami projects. She also works with event management and marketing agencies to design and produce unique origami products.

Origami Monument Project at Campbelltown

7m Origami Monyument in Campbelltown It is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the Campbelltown Art Project. I designed an origami monument for Koshigaya Park in Campbelltown this year. Koshigaya City in Japan and Campbelltown in Sydney are sister cities and the cities are celebrating their 40th anniversary. My monument will be about 7 meters high. wow!
